Ibadan Bubbles As Prominent Personalities Converged To Honour Pastor Okenson’s 50th Birthday Celebration

The Thanksgiving Service for the celebrant, Pastor (Mrs) Evangelist, Emilian Olawunmi Okeson @50 started on Friday, 15th of August, 2021 with praise night at the Cherubini and Seraphim Church (C. S. M. C), liberty district headquarters, oke-ado Ibadan.

The opening prayer was said by the Secretary of the Church, Special Apostle Evangelist, John Adeyemi, followed by bible reading through the first son of the celebrant, Charles Okenson.

Thereafter, a praise and worship session was performed by Pastor (Mrs) Crew Ministration while Issac Adeleke invited the church secretary, Special Apostle Evangelist, John Adeyemi to mark his birthday surprisingly because his birthday was Saturday, 16th, 2021. Special Apostle Evangelist, John birthday cake was presented by Most Senior Apostle Prophet, Abiodun Kashimawo.

After the cake presentation, one of the celebrant’s daughters, Jane Okeson led the praise worship songs, it was a nice performance and kudos to the young talented musician. Not only Jane performed wonderfully well. We also have Marry Olobaloke, Bunmi Omole, Yasmin Eguaoje, Esther Falode, Taiwo Opalele and others.

After the worship songs, the celebrant was ushered onto her seat. Thereafter, the bible exhortation was done by Issac Adeleke while the Pastor-in-Charge of Holly Church of En-Hakkore, Pastor Bola Oyediran prayed to the offering. Prophetic ministration was performed by Most Special Apostle Prophet, Abiodun Kashawo. what really baffled me what the performance of this popular gospel singer, Evangelist Sade Taiwo. The gospel artist dazzled fans at the occasion. To be candid, no dull moment from that night till morning.

On Sunday, 17th October 2021, the thanksgiving service took place at the same church auditorium, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Liberty Road Oke-Ado, Ibadan. the pastor in charge of the sermon, Pastor Leke Ogunbanwo preached on the topic Happy Day.

The topic was centred on living a happy life, giving positive value to people and making an impact on people’s lives. The preacher also highlighted the benefits of a happy day.

The celebrant of the day then talked about her life journey and rise to stardom as a chorister. She also highlighted the importance of walking With God so as to enjoy the benefits of a happy day.

Furthermore, Senior Ministers of the C. S. M. C wished the celebrant a happy 50th birthday celebration.

Thereafter, the celebrant, Olawunmi and her husband alongside other senior prophets, choir members and church members danced forward to the alter for the thanksgiving.
The celebrant then gave a special rendition. She also gave special thanks to God for reaching this landmark milestone in her life.

Emilian thanked her husband for his support through the years. She also thanked the church for its unwavering support.

She received several presents from members of the church. The Thanksgiving service was then crowned off in the church with the cutting of the cake and special prayers for the celebrant.

The celebrant and her well-wishers then proceeded to Molete Baptist Church Hall for the reception.

Mr Isaac Adeleke kick-started the event by taking the opening prayer. The M. C then invited the special guests of honour to the high table. SP. AP Femi Adeyemo, SP. AP Abiodun Kashimawo, SP. AP Olaojo, SP. AP Awe, SP. AP A. Ajisafe, Special Mother-in-Israel Tokunbo Ademosun, Deaconess Dorcas Adesola, Special Mother-in-Israel Oyeniyi, Special Apostle & Mrs Ogunsegun, Pastor & Mrs Ogunnaike amongst others were part of the special guests to grace the occasion.

The celebrant was then ushered into the reception for the event to commence fully.

The speech of the day was given by SP. AP. DR. Olusola Ogunsegun. In his speech, the chairman glorified God in the life of the celebrant. He also asked about her passion for the work of God through evangelism and she is a vessel of God.

The event proceeded with the cutting of the cake by the celebrant and her husband.

The biography of the celebrant was then given by Sis. Jane Okenson.

There was more as a renowned musician, Soji Best and Olasam graced the occasion to celebrate Mrs Emilian Okenson on her 50th birthday and the launch of her album. The album was launched in Grand style as heavy and mighty cream de La cream of the society
were present.

Talking about what makes the album special, Pastor Mrs Evangelist Emilian Okenson said the songs in the album which speaks a lot about the sovereignty of God makes it a special one.

On the red carpet anchored by the queen of the red carpet, Fola Slim, the special guests present at the occasion showered encomiums on the celebrant for her good deeds and wished her many more years in good and sound health on the surface of the earth.

The celebrant first Son, Mr Charles Okenson gave the vote of thanks to cap off the event.

The event was covered and red-carpeted by Apreel 1 Events Tv.
