A member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ademola Olusegun Popoola is dead. He was aged 46

The lawmaker, who represented Ibadan Southeast constituency II at Oyo State House of Assembly died on Tuesday evening at University College Hospital (UCH) after suffering from Kidney related disease.

Popoola was the Chairman of the Committee on Local Government, Chieftaincy Matters.

A family source who confirmed the incident said he was billed to be flown abroad for surgery before eventually giving up the ghost.
