A political support group known as Jagaban Vision Movement (JVM) has said Nigerians should support the candidacy of All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu at the forthcoming general elections.
The convener of the group, Prince Adeleke Adegoke disclosed this to Journalists at the APC state Secretariat in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
Adegoke maintained that Nigerians need to support the candidacy of the former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, because he is the most qualified candidate contesting for the country’s top seat.
Adegoke, in his explanation, said that when looking for the competency, capability, and most experienced hand capable of taking Nigeria out of the series of challenges currently confronting the nation, Tinubu is the most suitable candidate.
According to him, “Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is the most qualified candidate among other candidates jostling for the president of this country.
“Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has done a lot in transforming Lagos state from just an ordinary city to the richest and most attractive city not only in Nigeria but in Africa as a whole.”
Tinubu is fit as a fiddle
Adegoke, however, disregarded the insinuation of the health challenges confronting the former governor of Lagos state, saying Tinubu is fit as a fiddle.
He was optimistic that if Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is voted as the next president, the myriad of challenges, such as insecurities, economic contraction, inter-ethnic conflict, and some other vices hindering Nigeria’s growth, “will be things of the past, and Nigeria will become dreams of our own.
“I urged Nigerians to choose right this time to avoid another complaint of bad governance in the next four years. Tinubu is the only one who can bring good governance and democracy dividends to the nooks and crannies of our dear country. Let’s vote for him to lead us to our promised land,” Adegoke said.
Also in attendance at the press conference were the Oyo state Coordinators of the group, Hon. Taiwo Fawole, the women’s leader of the group, Mrs. Remi Olumora, the state secretary, Comrade Adediran Idris, and Hon Idowu Olanipekun, the leader of the group, among others.
