Sustainable Eco6tem Ready To Host IHTEF 2018 In Owerri

THE third edition of the International Hospitality, Tourism & Eco-Sustainability Forum (IHTEF), an annual event organized by Sustainable Eco6tem & Hotel Human Capital sets to hold on 28 and 29 March, 2018 at Villa Garden Hotel, Owerri, Nigeria.

The convener, Diala Chibuikem in a press release disclosed that IHTEF is a platform of knowledge for deeply insightful and excellent minds in bringing together, Thought Leaders, Visionaries, International Tourism Experts, Investors, Governments, Hotel Owners, Hotel Workers among others.

The theme of this year event is “Emerging Market in Nigeria: The Future of Hospitality & Tourism.” It will parade notable speakers who will make various contributions at the forum, Diala said.

Diala stated further, “The forum will also be an avenue to discuss and analyses the growing importance of Hospitality and Tourism in Sub-regional economies across Africa. Harness means of building up foreign investment portfolio to boost the tourism sector in Africa for development and peace”.

“At IHTEF 2018, there will be Bed Making Competition for House Keepers and Home Makers with various prizes for the winners. Also, there will be various organizations at the exhibition pavilion while a city trails and tour shall also be arranged for the interested participants”.

The Convener disclosed further that a special focus on Climate Change, Green Hospitality and Tourism Sustainability has also been put together to hold during the conference. Also, the Emerging Young Leaders Roundtable (EYLR) will feature very powerful young personalities in the industry.

“The event have the strong support and endorsement of Imo State Ministry of Tourism; Villa garden Hotel; Zigona Travel & Tours; FTAN South East; Institute of Hospitality UK (Nigeria); World Assembly of Youth; and Aisha Abu Bakr among others. IHTEF 2018 has as its Conference Patron and Chairman, His Eminence King Alfred Diette-Spiff, The Amanyanabo of Twon Brass, Bayelsa State, who himself is a Professional Golfer”, Diala concluded.
