THE entire leadership and membership of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has expressed its total disappointment with some youths engaging in campaigns of calumny against credible personalities.

According to a statement signed on Tuesday by the Zone A Coordinator of the body, Comrade Umar Faruk, stated that “the recent attack against the present Chairman of National Hajj Commission, Barr Abdullahi Mukhtar Mohammed by one Ibrahim Garba Wala is condemnable and needles.

Faruk claimed that “this is not the first time the self-acclaimed Comrade has engaged in similar attitudes in an attempt to attract cheap popularity”.

He added that one of such incidents was the ‘NASS Must Go Protest’ embarked by the same IG Wala and a group of innocent individuals of which it was reported he abruptly called it to an unceremonious end after going behind doors to dine and collect huge bribe from the advocates of the National Assembly.

The NANS therefore called on IG Wala to desist from such acts or face the possible wrath of his unwarranted action till eternity.
