BARRISTER Kole Ajayi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti, is dead.
The scientist-turned lawyer was 51 years, who was one of the 32 aspirants for the APC gubernatorial primary election, recently held in Ado Ekiti, was said to have died on his way to Lagos State for a function.
The legal luminary was the former president, University of Ado Ekiti (UNAD) and a member board of management of the school.
He contested for the gubernatorial seat in the state in 2014 under the Accord Party (AP).
A family source who confirmed his demise said “the news was shocking as he was full of live before embarking on the trip to Lagos.
Wale Ojo-Lanre, one of his friends when contacted described Kole Ajayi as a gentle and hardworking person, who is passionate about the progress and development of Ekiti State.
