Ekiti Arts And Culture Stakeholders Forum Holds Monday

EKITI State Council for Arts and Culture has scheduled the maiden edition of its stakeholders’ forum for Monday, August 19, 2019.

The theme of the event is “Arts and Culture for Economic Property”.

The Director-General of the Council, Amb. Wale Ojo-Lanre in a statement made available on Thursday disclosed that the Governor of the State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, is the special guest of honour, while his wife, Erelu Bisi Fayemi is the chairman of the occasion.

Ojo-Lanre said further that the programme, which starts by 10:am at Cultural Centre behind FIRS office state secretariat, Ado Ekiti is to bring together artisans and other stakeholders in the Arts and Culture sector to deliberate on how to explore the arts and culture for economic development of the state as well as promoting the value orientation policy of Governor Fayemi.

“Ekiti is endowed with a lot of potentials and we want to harness them for economic benefit and growth of our state,” the statement reads.
