Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Eniitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II on Thursday showed his skills in football and a keen interest in supporting and developing the youth.
The firstclass Yoruba Oba did this during the second edition of the Ojaja II Principal Cup held in Osun State.
The Arole Oduduwa in a series of posts on his Twitter handle @OoniAdimulaIfe said he celebrated young secondary students at the second edition of the Ojaja II Principal Cup, which according to him is a unique competition celebrating the brilliance of the young adolescent stars on the field of play.

Talking about his scope of worke, the Ooni of Ife said he at the moment, he concentrated in one state but he would expand his reach to the South West region in the coming year 2021, and beyond in years to come.
He noted that “With the commencement of the construction of our ultra modern stadium, this competition will only get better.”
Expressing his happiness towards success of the competition, Ojaja II said “I am genuinely proud of the young stars and congratulate the players of Oduduwa college for their triumph. The future is bright and we have structures in place to make sure the best of the players have the right support if they choose to secure a future in the sport.
“The people, who are the backbone of support for any endeavour came out in their large numbers with many climbing trees to have a good view and support the youth; the youth are indeed the future and we must support them at all costs.”
The Ooni of Ife appreciated the organisers of the competition, the Nigerian Football Association and the State for their support.
