A bank robbery incident at Okeho in Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State was halted when three of the robbery suspects were arrested by the police.

Reporters At Large gathered that the bank robbers came to First Bank, Okeho in an 18-seater bus, and had gained entrance into the bank by using dynamite’s and shots from AK47 rifles to destroy the bank’s security door.

But the resistance put up by the vigilance group and hunters in the town, in collaboration with the police, yielded fruits, as the bank robbers decided to escape in their bus.

The bus reportedly had a somersault as the robbers were escaping, and three of them were caught by the police, vigilance group and hunters, while others escaped. They were, however, set ablaze by an angry mob.

Speaking on the bank robbery incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Olugbenga Fadeyi said that after getting the information about the bank robbery incident, the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Nwachukwu Enwonwu condemned the act.
