The Ibadan-based philanthropist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as ‘ Sunday Igboho’ has enjoined the Muslim faithfuls to adhere strictly to the teachings of Eid-El-Kabir as muslims all over the world celebrate the festivity.

Sunday Igboho’s message of admonition to muslims was contained in a release he personally signed and made available to naijatodaynews.com.

While congratulating Muslims, he said it was a thing of joy to felicitate with the Muslims adherents in Oyo State, Nigeria and all over the world on the unique celebration of Eid-El-Kabir which Allah has commanded all Muslim righteous and faithfuls to observe.

Sunday Igboho stressed that while Muslims are celebrating, they should not forget the teachings associated with the celebration of the festivity.

He enjoined all Muslim adherents to remember the beginning and conditions through which prophet Ibrahim pledged to make sacrifice to God that if his request of ending barrenness was granted, he would not hesitate to sacrifice the fruit of the womb to worship God.

He added that the period called for sobber reflection of what Prophet Ibrahim passed through while attempting to slaughter his only blessed son before God miraculously changed him to a matured ram.

Sunday Igboho advised the Muslims to use the occasion of the celebration to pray for progress, unity and togetherness Oyo State and Nigeria at large.

He equally admonished them to pray fervently to end of ravaging coronavirus pandemic which he said had crippled the economy and smooth runnings of governance at all levels.

While celebration goes on, Sunday Igboho called people’s attention to reality of coronavirus pestilence which he said people needed to observe social distancing, adherence to hygienic measures and adequate compliance with WHO’s protocols on Covid-19.

He prayed for unity, oneness, peaceful co-existence of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
