Chairman, Ogun State People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Sikirulai Ogundele has sworn-in Local Government chairmen for the party.
Among the newly-sworn-in chairmen is Mogaji Dele Ajayi, who took the oath of office as PDP chairman Ijebu North Local Government.
Mogaji Ajayi, in a brief virtual chat with Reporters At Large, opined that the people of Ogun State deserve better than what they are getting under the All Progressive Congress (APC) less administration in the state.
While describing the PDP as a formidable party to dislodge the rolling APC in the state, Mogaji Ajayi said, “Nigerians, especially the people of Ogun State, have suffered enough under the APC-led administration. This is not the ‘change’ our people votes for. This wasn’t the economically buoyant Nigeria the APC inherited from PDP. This is not the considerably secured and peaceful Nigeria the PDP-led administration passed over the ruling APC. It is time we liberate our people and better their lots.”
