The emergence of Taiwo Taiwo as Onipara elect of Ipara Remo has continued to generate horrendous controversies  and protests from traditional societies and organisations which are indigenous to Ipara Remo, Ogun State.

In its follow up to a petition to the Ogun State, Governor Chief Dapo Abiodun, Ipara Cultural Heritage Protection Council (ICHPC), has again made a press release where it revealed ‘ Why Taiwo Taiwo should not be made  Olupara of Ipara Remo’

In the release made available to newshounds in Lagos yesterday, Mr Babs Awopeju, Secretary-General of ICHPC, pointed out that ‘ Taiwo Taiwo lacks both the moral and cultural credentials to be made Onipara of Ipara, a town which parades and produces distinguished men and women of strong character and unblemished integrity ‘

Ipara Cultural Heritage Protection Council revealed that ” Taiwo Taiwo, apart from the fact that he is not of the royal blood of Amororo Ruling House, he is grossly deficient in character and recorded shortage in moral balancing ‘

The Council alleged that Taiwo Taiwo has a series of fraudulent cases bordering on criminality on his neck and thus unfit for the throne

It alleged that Taiwo Taiwo has not cleared his name from the allegation that

1) he stole his friend’s international passport and was arrested at the point of entry in early 1990 and got deported.

2) That he betrayed and deceived his friend to buy the land where he builds his house now.

3) That he defrauded one of our elders in Ipara to the tune of millions of naira

4) That he has not washed free from the allegation of conspiring with others to kill his father

The Council also alleged that Mr Taiwo Taiwo has been demanding for access to lpara Vigilante Group Account to change signatories which has been resisted by the group.

B) That his media aides have been peddling rumours around the town that Mr Taiwo Taiwo facilitated the installation of new Transformers and Solar Street Lights at Abekoko Area of lpara whereas the project was carried out by Hon. Faleke for his interest in the area.

” We have been reliably informed on how his advisers lobbied people and groups/associations with various tactics to pay him homage to hoodwinked the populace as if his selection is ordained by God and acceptable to the people – “Ti lro ba lo fun Ogun Odun, Ojo kan soso ni otito ma baa”. As a court case has been initiated at High Court of Ogun State, Sagamu with Suit No: HCS/90/2021 dated 15th day of February, 2021 duly signed by the Court Registrar on behalf of Amororo Ruling House he claimed to emerged from or represents. ‘

Mr Awopeju   reiterated  the fact that those who are crying about the legality of Ipara Cultural Heritage Protection Council should know that  registration as a body with CAC is not a prerequisite for existence for a cultural Council seeking to correct or waking up the consciousness of the people towards a malignant evil

The Ipara Cultural Heritage Protection Council remarked that ” We cannot stand akimbo and allow a few people to Lord over us a stained personality with no blue blood running in his veins and a man who is enmeshed in a series of the fraudulent and criminal allegation as King ‘

‘ Taiwo Taiwo is suffering from integrity deficiency, cultural irrelevance and moral latitude. Such a man is unfit for us in Ipara ‘  the Council reckoned
