Many students have been abducted from Bethel Baptist Secondary School, Maramara Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Daily Trust reports that armed men stormed the school in the early hours of Monday, shooting sporadically.
The Kaduna State Police Command confirmed the incident, saying 17 students have been rescued.
The number of abducted students is unknown.
This is the third major attack in Kaduna within 24 hours.
Meanwhile, REPORTERS AT LARGE recently reported that unidentified gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted the Eleda of Eda Ile, in Ekiti East Local government area of Ekiti State, Oba Benjamin Oso.
Oba Oso was said to have been kidnapped in the presence of his wife at their farm at Eda Ile, Friday evening.
