Eid-el-Kabir: Arowosaye Donates Cows, Rams, Cash To Oyo East Leaders, Calls For Prayers

Ahead of Tuesday’s Eid-el- Kabir celebration, the Executive Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, Prince Saheed Arowosaye has donated cows, rams and cash to traditional rulers, Muslim leaders and elders in the local government.

Arowosaye who announced the donation on Sunday during a meeting with the chairman of Oyo East traditional council said the gesture was part of his efforts in assisting the leaders in celebrating Eid-el-Kabir.

The chairman also thanked the leaders for their contributions to peaceful coexistence in the local and urged them to continue to pray for the local government and state.

No fewer than 70 Traditional, Religious and Political leaders from wards across Oyo East Local Government have benefited from Hon. Saheed Arowosaye’s gesture.

The support package, he also said marks another milestone especially to PDP leaders, traditional leaders and religious leaders for their unflinching support to him in addressing local government’s issues.

He enumerated achievements made so far, since the inauguration of his tenure, such as empowerment and infrastructural development.

Arowosaye also pledged his administration’s commitment to a better educational, health, agricultural and adequate welfarism of members of his Local Government among others.
