An encounter with Esther Ojooba will wire you to another realm especially in the gospel music arena.
The originator of gospel explosion, an annual program started about eight years ago with a specific focus on prophetic praise. She revealed an exclusive part of her in this no hold barred encounter, as she prepared again to set the music industry on fire, come October, 9 in Canada.
How will you rate gospel explosion? “It’s getting better, stronger every year, this year’s performance, no doubt will be electrifying both in performance, content and the audience. It is a live concert and 3 in 1 event. Guests are coming all across the globe.
The guest speaker is Dr Loretta Balogun, who is the First Lady of RCCG House of Refuge (Adullam Paris) Windsor, Ontario Canada while creme de la creme in the society globally including Pastor Kolawole Soname from the USA, Evangelist Funmilayo Oni from the USA, Pastor Anna Marie Lakatos from Toronto Canada, Pastor Yemi Akintade, Adeola Olugbesan, Mercy Itohan Osayi who is the president of Women of Dignity International have signified their interest to grace the event.
The 3 in1 events include the annual concert, birthday praise and public presentation of two albums titled Advocator and Mega Celebration.
To minstrel Esther Ojooba “Gospel music to is a life that I live, and I don’t think I can live any other life aside from it. It brings me joy and happiness to the life of my fans. It is my vow to God to praise Him continually. He fought my battles and to bring people to His presence.”
In comparism of gospel music concerts in Nigeria and what operate overseas. “It’s not an easy task to do a musical concert like the way everyone is organizing a musical concert in Nigeria, but with focus, determination and consistency you will achieve your goals”
On her aspirations, Ojooba said, “My mission is to win more souls to Christ through my gospel Kennery music”
Who is Esther Ojooba? “I can describe myself as a child of destiny. I came out from a royal family in Ipole-Iloro Ekiti. My grandfather was the first King in my hometown
I’m number 3 in a family of 6. I went to Peter King College of Music to have more knowledge in music. Music is in our blood, my late father was a musician. I have been singing since I was 5 years old and I have been a backup vocalist for so many star musicians like Jide Chord, Dele Taiwo, Yinka Ayefele among others but my journey to gospel music started professionally since 2003 till date”
This year event is taking place at Polish Hall 1275 Langlois Avenue, Windsor, ON NBX 4L6 with the red carpet at 4pm, while the main show start at 5pm.
