Another feather has been added to the cap of the founder, TZAR Foundation, Mr Rasaq Temitayo Zubair as he received an award of excellence from the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) Ekiti State Chapter.
The Founder of the TZAR foundation was honoured at the 3rd Annual Inaugural lecture titled: “Insecurity in Nigeria, our role as youth and Nigerian Youth; Patriotism and self-development” held in Ado-Ekiti.
The national Speaker of Youth Assembly in Nigeria, Rt. Hon. Shuaibu Sani applauded the philanthropic gesture of Mr Temitayo ZUBAIR for supporting and empowering the youths and the aged in Ekiti State. He added that the future of the youths could only be guaranteed when they are economically empowered.
Rt. Hon. Shuaibu Sani enjoined the youths to unite, shun thuggery and work for the enthronement of viable youths to various political seats in Nigeria.
He stressed that despite the numerical strength and viability of the youths they are still sidelined and marginalised at all spheres in Nigeria.
He advised that youths should not allow Nigeria leaders to derail their future with token money given to them during electioneering campaigns.
While receiving the award on behalf of the founder, Mr Fabiyi Olatunji Isaac appreciated the Youth Assembly of Nigeria, Ekiti State chapter, for finding Tzar worthy of the prestigious award. He pledged the foundation’s continuous assistance to the development of youths in Nigeria.
Mr Tunji notified the gathering about the giant strides of the TZAR Foundation in Ekiti State. The award was later dedicated to Nigerian youths saying it will spur Mr Temitayo Zubair to do more as every award is a call to serve and do more.
The representative of TZAR advocated for youths leadership in Nigeria saying they have to make their numerical strength count to contribute their quota to move Nigeria to greatness where she can compete favourably with a committee of nations in the 21st century.
Also speaking at the event was the Special Assistant to the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, on Social Media, Mrs Mary Osho Omotoso, urged the youths to display their intellect and skills wherever they find themselves and not to expect the present leaders of Nigeria to hand over power to them if they fail to showcase their work and over intellectual capability to lead the nation.
