Oyo Political Heads Condole Makinde Over Demise Of Foremost Monarchs, Commend Him Or Infrastructural Development

The Political Heads, Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in Oyo State have commiserate Governor Seyi Makinde on the deaths of three foremost monarchs in the state.

They described the deaths of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, the Soun of Ogbomosho and Asigangan of Igangan as a huge lost to the Governor who often tap from the royal wisdom of the monarchs as well as a huge pain for the entire state.

They charged him not to be weary but take heart.

The political heads however commended the governor for the massive infrastructural development going on across the state, a feat they noted made the royal fathers proud of his achievement while they were here with us.

The Political heads made the observations in a release issued after their meeting.

The statement was signed by the Political Head, Iseyin South LCDA, Hon. Fasasi Raheem Ajibola (popularly called FM) and Hon Adigun T.A, Secretary and Chairman of the Forum respectively.

According to the statement, the head of the LCDAs at the meeting reviewed the attained infrastructural facilities and other unprecedented achievements which Governor Seyi Makinde had recorded in the pacesetter state since his assumption of office.

Lauding the Governor, they described him as indeed a God Sent Man (GSM) whose administration and historical feats had brought succour and healthy smiles on the faces of the people of Oyo State.

They added that the Makinde led administration had unequivocally and positively touched and addressed all notable sectors which its effects had brought progress and development to all inhabitants in the pacesetter.

Without being economical with the truth, The Political Heads maintained that Makinde had restored sanity into health, education, security and agric sectors among others, stressing that the feats recorded in those areas had made people to tag him, “God Sent Man”(GSM).

“They however called on people of the state to throw their weight behind Governor Seyi Makinde in order to continue his masses’ oriented projects and programmes.

“They stressed that his achievements had qualified him for second term of another four years, stressing that Makinde remains a passionate leader who would do better than this, while he comes in for another term.

“In another vein, they condoled with him over the demise of Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Soliu Akanmu Adetunji, Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oyewunmi and Asigangan of Iganganland respectively.

“They described their death as painful and monumental loss to pacesetter state, stressing that the late foremost monarchs were figures of cultures and traditions whose wisdom, experience and values would be sorely missed on sustenance and preservation of cultures and traditions.

“They all enjoined Makinde to take solace in the fact that from God we came and unto Him all living souls shall return at athe appropriate time.

“The Political Heads prayed God to repose their souls and gives their bereaved families and good people of Oyo State, the fortitude to bear the huge loss”, the statement read in parts.
