The Glow Foundation, a non-governmental organisation, has been launched in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, to rescue widows in Nigeria from oppression, desperation, and untold hardships.

According to the founder of the Glow Foundation, Mrs. Elizabeth Ibitoye, the organisation will “strive hard to earn widows respect and dignity and also protect and preserve their rights in society through advocacy.”

Ibitoye added that “Molestation of widows under the guise of tradition shall be fought squarely within the ambit of the law, while the Glow Foundation will not lose focus on empowering widows through skills acquisition and vocational training.

With the support of our partners, we will cater to the welfare of widows by generously donating essential materials.
