A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Engineer Oyedele Hakeem Alao, has congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba (Dr) Mohood Olalekan Balogun, on his 80th birthday.
Alao, in a statement he signed and made available by his media office, said the birthday celebration of the first-class monarch provides an opportunity to celebrate a quintessential father, a noble statesman and a role model who loves Ibadanland with passion.
The Asiwaju of Irokoland congratulated Oba Balogun on reaching the milestone and prayed for many more years of good health for him while Ibadanland would witness more development under his reign.
He said, “I want to congratulate the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Mohood Olalekan Balogun, on the celebration of his 80th birthday.
“The birthday of our referred father is worth celebrating, as he is a custodian of the very rich Ibadan traditional heritage whose reign has been peaceful and prosperous for all in Ibadanland.
“As you mark another milestone birthday, I pray to God to grant your dreams and wishes for Ibadanland. Kabiyesi, long may you live in peace and good health.”
