A middle-aged man, simply identified as Ramon Mustapha, lost his life in a ghastly motor accident in Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde’s convoy.

It was learnt that the accident occurred at about 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday while Governor Makinde was returning from Saki, where he had gone to campaign for his second term bid.

It was a gory sight at the scene of the ghastly auto accident as eyewitnesses expressed shock over the unfortunate incident and prayed for the life of the Governor.

According to a source, many who witnessed the scene wept uncontrollably over the loss of the driver, who they described as humble, respectful and very dutiful.

The victim of the auto crash died, having his head smashed by the ill-fated car which was said to have somersaulted several times.
