Ibadan city today received some politicians and top government officials at the Jogor event centre where Titilayo Alabi, the daughter of Goke Alabi, AKA ‘TURTLE” a National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) chieftain and member of the Oyo state Parks Management System and her fiancée, Bolaji Okeowo tied the knot.
The event, which was graced among others, was Engr. Seyi Makinde (Executive Governor of Oyo State), His Royal Highness, Oba Moshood Olalekan Balogun (Olubadan of Ibadan land), Alhaji Lai Mohammed (Minister of Information and Culture, CP Adebowale Williams (Oyo State Commissioner of Police) and many others.
In his words of encouragement to the couple, “Turtle” encouraged the couple to make “love” the pillar of their home and ensure that morals and cultural values are not eliminated from their family goals. He ended his speech with prayers that God will guide them through the Journey that they just embarked on and give them beautiful children. He further presented the couple with a brand-new Toyota Prado SUV.
