More intrigues have begun to unfold as ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo calls to cancel the 2023 presidential polls held on Saturday, February 25.

On Monday, February 27, the former president sought to cancel the presidential election because it lacked integrity and validity.

In his statement titled “2023 Nigeria Presidential Election: An Appeal For Caution and Rectification,” he urged the chairman of INEC, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, to take the bull by the horns and save Nigeria from catastrophe.

The ex-President alleged that INEC officials stationed nationwide had been compromised, especially with the hiccups in transmitting results.

Obasanjo’s letter is coming barely a few hours after the party agents staged a walkout.
