Hajiya Rabi Aminu Dantata, the wife of famous business mogul, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, is dead. She reportedly died in Saudi Arabia.
As she was fondly called, Mama Rabi was the second wife of the foremost elder statesman.
She was said to have battled a prolonged illness.
A family member, Sanusi Dantata confirmed her demise.
In a tweet on his page, he said: “Please pray for our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Haj. Rabi, wife of Alh. Aminu Dantata, died yesterday after a protracted illness!
“May Allah forgive her, accept her good deeds, and grant her the highest rank in Paradise, Ameen! Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihirrajiuun!”
This came barely four months after the elder statesman and renowned business mogul, Having clocked the ripe age of 91, disclosed that “he no longer enjoys life.” He added that he is hoping to depart this world in good faith.
Daily Trust reports the wealthy businessman as saying this when he played host to the vice presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Kashim Shettima, in Kano.
He disclosed that many of the friends and people he met across Nigeria from his youthful age have died. He noted that he could hardly call out 10 who are still alive.
