Barring any unforeseen contingency, high-profile Nollywood actors and actresses, have concluded plans to grace the 5th anniversary of Oodua Heritage International Organisation (OHIO).
Tagged OHIO 2023, the commemoration is targeted at showcasing the domineering impacts of the organisation in promoting unity and cohesion among the Yoruba race both at home and in the diaspora.
Speaking to REPORTERS AT LARGE on the celebration in Lagos, one of the prominent Nollywood actors, Yemi Solade said: “Arrangements have already been perfected to honour Oodua Heritage International Organisation because of the organisation’s visible contributions across the world in promoting cultural heritage and unity among the Oodua descendants.
Other Nollywood celebrities expected at the epoch-making occasion include Prince Jide Kosoko, Yemi Shodimu, Dele Odule, TAMPAN’s president, Bolaji Amusan, Ibraheem Chatta, Toyin Afolayan Olofaina, Otunba Ladi Afolarin,
Femi Adebayo, Adedimeji Lateef, Kunle Afod, Fathia Balogun, Kemi Korede and Busayo Orioke popularly called “Orioke Omoologo”.
In a statement forwarded to journalists, the organisers in a statement signed by OHIO founder and its president, Otun Balogun Abiodun Adewale Kuku and Asiwaju Chief (Mrs.) Hon. Erelu Bolanle Amoke Kuku alias Olisa Obaobinrin, disclosed that the event will be held at Grandeur Event Centre, 17, Billings Way, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos State, on Sunday, 15th October 2023, by noon.
Other important personalities expected to grace the occasion Include the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Babatunde Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Alaketu of Ketu, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adebowale Ajibade, Orimadegun I, the Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams and Oyo State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr Wasiu Olatunbosun, including King Saheed Osupa and Musiliu Haruna Ishola.
Oodua Heritage International Organisation is a social-cultural, non-religious cum governmental entity created in 2018 by the founder/President/CEO, Asiwaju Chief (Mrs.) Erelu Hon. Bolanle Amoke Kuku, alias Olisa – Obaobinrin and co-founder/ VP/ CFO Otun Balogun Abiodun Adewale Kuku.
It was registered in Nigeria and the diaspora in 2019 with a significant presence in different countries such as the USA, United Kingdom, France, Gambia, Mauritania, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, South Africa, Ghana, Spain, Brazil, and many more.
