The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has unveiled 10 fresh requirements for the admission of foreign students to Nigerian universities.

According to the examination board, the new requirements supersede the earlier standards released by the board in November 2019.

The new requirements were contained in a memo obtained by our correspondent on Saturday in Abuja, signed by the Director, Information Technology Services of JAMB, Fabian Okoro, and dated October 10, 2023.

The memo reads, “The University sends a list of all fresh foreign candidates (for current admission) to the State JAMB Office with a letter of indemnity signed by the Head of the institution.

“The letter of indemnity will read in part, “I confirm that the listed candidates as forwarded to JAMB all met the admission requirements into my institution and hereby indemnify JAMB against any inaccuracy of the claims”.
