Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery has begun selling Basic Midwifery Forms to prospective students hoping to be admitted.

This was made known in a statement released by the Provost of the College, Dr. Gbonjubola Owolabi, who emphasised that the form is meant for students keen on advancing their careers in nursing.

She stated that Basic Midwifery is a three-year program that will commence in March 2024. After that, candidates will be presented to the College and the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) for final qualifying examinations to become midwives eligible for registration with the NMCN as Registered Midwives (RM).

Dr. Owolabi reiterated that it is an opportunity for individuals passionate about nursing to take a significant step towards realising their career aspirations.

The Provost encouraged interested candidates to follow the online application process on the college website or contact the office of the Registrar or the college’s ICT centre for further inquiries.
