The final burial ceremony of Chief (Mrs.) Aduke Bolaji Omotosho, will continue to linger in the memories of friends and families for the sophisticated event organised by her children.
The final event was held on Friday, 19th of April, 2024, at St. Anne’s Church, Molete, Ibadan and Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre at Liberty Road.
It started with the displaying of the corpse by the pallbearers at her residence located along Felele Rab and moving in convoy to St. Anne’s Church, Molete, Ibadan, for church service.
In his sermon at the church service, Ven. Olusegun Faleye asked the congregation who knew the next person who would die to raise his or her hand, but nobody could do that.
The cleric then said everybody is going to die whether we like it or not, urging them to do good so that when they are no more, people will talk good of them.
Ven. Faleye appealed to those in the congregation who have not given their lives to Jesus to do so because nobody knows when he/she will sleep and will be no more.
Thereafter, interment and dust-to-dust were inside the church, anchored by Ven. Other officiating ministers assisted Faleye.
Immediately after dusting to dust, all the children, friends and families returned to the church for Thanksgiving service.
At the reception, Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre at Liberty Road, was filled to the brim with who is who in the society, movers and shakers in the political circle, business stakeholders, creme de la creme in the society, celebrities and host of others as they converged to celebrate with the children the celebration of the life of the deceased.
During an interview with Apreel1 Events TV, the children, friends, and families described how Chief (Mrs.) Aduke Bolaji Omotosho will be greatly missed, and I prayed for the children she left behind.
King Wasiu Ayinde dazzled the dignitaries present at the occasion with what he knows how to do best.
