Preparations are underway for this year’s highly anticipated Yewa Day (UK & Ireland) in London, under the auspices of HRM, Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle MFR, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland.
Mr. Kayode Amosu, President of the Yewa Descendants Union UK & Ireland (YDU UK & Ireland), revealed that the event promises a captivating lineup of cultural, traditional, commercial, and entertainment activities.
The President of YDU UK & Ireland guaranteed members and their guests an unforgettable experience throughout the festivities.
He urged all Yewa indigenes, both at home and abroad, to offer unwavering support for the success of the programme.
Mr Amosu further stated that besides showcasing the rich culture and traditions of the Yewa people abroad, the event aims to unite Yewans from around the world to discuss and forge new paths for the socio-economic advancement of Yewaland.
