Nico O’Reilly stole the show at Wembley with a stunning brace on Sunday. The 21-year-old scored twice to lead Manchester City to a 2-0 victory against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final.

Four Minutes of Magic

Two headers from the young star in the space of just four second-half minutes won the match for Pep Guardiola’s side. The clinical performance left the Gunners reeling and shifted the momentum of the entire final.

O’Reilly’s first goal came after a mistake from Arsenal goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. However, there was nothing lucky about his second. It was a brilliant header from a well-worked City move that showcased the team’s tactical depth.

Treble Hopes and Historical Milestones

The victory gives Manchester City their ninth League Cup title. While City celebrated, the result meant that Arsenal’s dreams of an unprecedented quadruple are now over.

Guardiola’s men proved too much for the North London side in a classic final that will be remembered for O’Reilly’s breakout brilliance on the big stage.
