Goodness Oluwasemipe Mimiola, popularly known as Omo’ba Akikitan, is an exceptional 10-year-old girl making waves in church ministry with her unique and fascinating poetry. Omo’ba Akikitan is not just any young girl; she uses well over 500 inspirational expressions and recitations to eulogize God, touching the hearts and souls of congregations across Ibadan.

Omo’ba Akikitan: A Prophetic Journey

Divine prophecy marked Omo’ba Akikitan’s path from a young age. The young prodigy disclosed that her journey into praise poetry was not luck but preordained. Her ministry was the subject of a divine prophecy revealed to her parents while she was still an infant. This prophecy came to fruition as she grew under the mentorship of her father.

Her father, ‘Wale (Olorunfine), a pastor deeply entrenched in a music ministry, facilitated and actively fostered Omo’ba’s emerging talents. A man of faith and vision, he recognised the extraordinary potential in his daughter early on. With enthusiasm and unwavering faith, he provided her with opportunities to nurture her talents. Omo’ba recounts that her father was integral in shaping her destiny, utilising his pastoral and musical inclination to mentor her diligently.
