Hon. Olusegun Odebunmi (Bunvic), former Chairman of the House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics, and Values in the 9th Assembly, has expressed deep appreciation following President Bola Tinubu’s confirmation of his appointment as the Chairman of the Board of Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority.
Hon. Odebunmi, who previously served as a member of the House of Representatives in the 7th, 8th, and 9th Assembly, described the appointment as a great honor and pledged his unwavering commitment to advancing the Tinubu-led administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He emphasized the importance of sustainable water resource management and assured Nigerians that he would work diligently to contribute to national development.
“I sincerely thank His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) for this great opportunity and for entrusting me with this vital role. I remain fully aligned with this administration’s vision and will dedicate my efforts to ensuring efficient management of the Ogun-Osun River Basin for the benefit of the people,” he stated.
Hon. Odebunmi also extended his gratitude to the people of Ogbomosho, across all five local governments, acknowledging their immense support and encouragement throughout his political journey, including the people of Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency for their unwavering support over the years, promising to uphold integrity, diligence, and dedication in his service.
Hon. Odebunmi also thanked the Oyo State APC leadership and party members for their confidence in him, stating that their support has been instrumental in his success.
“As we progress, I look forward to working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure development, not just within the Ogun-Osun River Basin Authority, but across Oyo State and beyond. Together, we will build a stronger and more prosperous nation,” he added.
