The Obomakinwa family of Alade Idanre, Ondo State, has announced a three-day programme to commemorate the 40th year remembrance of their patriarch, High Chief Olowoniyi William Obomakinwa, who served as the Obaipie of Alade kingdom.
Born in 1895, High Chief Obomakinwa lived a long and fulfilling life before passing away in 1985 at the age of 90.
As the family prepares to honour his legacy, they invited friends, well-wishers, and members of the community to join them in celebrating his life and contributions to the Alade kingdom.
The commemoration programme, scheduled for Friday, April 11th, to Sunday, April 13th, 2025, promises to be an exciting and memorable event. The activities lined up include games, cultural dances and thanksgiving.
Mr. Dickson Obomakinwa, speaking on behalf of the family, invited friends, well-wishers, and members of the community to join them in commemorating this significant milestone. He disclosed that all events will take place at the Obomakin family compound, located at Ilebunkun Street, Alade Idanre.
