According to Ambassador Fashlanso, the proposal outlines plans for Ekiti State to host the 2025 Pre-Award event in the third week of September 2025. The upcoming 9th edition of the awards is scheduled to take place in October 2025 in the United States of America.

“Ekiti State has been identified as an ideal partner due to its numerous iconic organic tourist assets,” Ambassador Fashlanso noted. “We firmly believe that hosting this pre-award event here would not only create an unforgettable experience for all our past recipients from the continent of Africa but would also significantly shine a global spotlight on Ekiti State’s unique offerings and capabilities.”
