Dignitaries from all walks of life on Sunday gathered in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital to celebrate with the Permanent Secretary, Local Government Service Commission, Deacon Taiwo Adewale on his son’s wedding ceremony, Mofiyinfunoluwa Adewale.
The wedding thanksgiving was held at the Union of Baptist Church. Ekotedo, Ibadan.
In his sermon, the pastor in charge of the Church, Reverend Jonathan Babalola admonished the new couple to cooperate with each other, respect their parents and always advise themselves whenever the need arises.
Reverend Babalola said sons and daughters will leave their parents and stay together on their own as husband and wife, noting that, that is the word of God.
Speaking at the reception, The Ogbomoso born politician and the current Chairman Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole (A.K.A) Wolekanle advised the couple to be patient and tolerant of each other.
Wolekanle added that understanding is the key to successful marriage, hinting that it will prevent the need to bring in a third party into their marriage.
Speaking at the Church Service, Deacon Taiwo Adewale thanked Governor Seyi makinde for giving him platform to serve as the Permanent Secretary, Local Government Service Commission and use his God given talent to represent Government at the Local Government Level.
Adewale appreciated dignitaries that graced the occasion that his son received special grace from God that he must not be ungrateful to God for the special grace he received from his children.
Present at the reception were the Hon. Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries in the Oyo State Civil Service, Retired Permanent Secretaries, Traditional Rulers, Head of Local Government Administration, Politicians, Business men and many others.
