Hon. (Amb.) Adekunle Kareem, an Oyo State House of Assembly aspirant, has extended his heartfelt New Year greetings to the people of Oyo State and Akinyele Local Government Area.

Hon. Kareem, who is also the Oluomo of Akinyele and Chairman of Kunle Kareem Foundation, is aspiring to contest the seat of Akinyele constituency 1 on the platform of Accord Party in the 2027 general elections.

In his New Year message, the Oluomo of Akinyele urged the people of Oyo State to remain hopeful and committed to “building a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come.

He appealed to the people of Oyo State to support the gubernatorial ambition of Alhaji (Dr.) Oriyomi Hamzat in next year’s poll, to bring progress, stability, and improved living conditions to every household in the state.

Hon. Kareem also congratulated Dr. Oriyomi Hamzat on the New Year party he will be holding today (Sunday) for his supporters and the forthcoming official declaration of the Oyo N Pe O Movement for Accord Party, slated to hold on January 17 at Liberty Stadium, Ibadan.

The Oyo Assembly hopeful declared that Dr. Hamzat is the man of the masses, who has demonstrated his capacity and readiness to make life more meaningful for the good people of Oyo State, if voted into power in the 2027 polls.

The Chairman of Kunle Kareem Foundation particularly extended his New Year felicitations to traditional rulers, political leaders, Oyo N Pe O Coordinators, Accord Party leaders, and other stakeholders in Akinyele Local Government Area.

“I am using this medium to inform them that I am still interested in contesting for the seat of Akinyele constituency 1 in the Oyo State House of Assembly on the platform of Accord Party come 2027,” Hon. Kareem added.

Hon. Kareem explained that based on his record of philanthropy and community service, he will perform credibly well in bringing governance and development close to the people of the constituency, if given the opportunity.

The Oluomo of Akinyele said, “I assisted in building sheds at the Moniya Abattoir, construction of bridges and drainage at Dagbolu community in ward 5, installation of street lights in various communities and markets across Akinyele, support for the rehabilitation of Aroromakinde-Igbo Oloyin road, construction of a two-classroom block, donation of chairs and tables to some schools in the constituency, award of scholarships to over 150 university students, facilitation of scholarships to over 300 students to various institutions of learning, among others”.

The politician also commended his fellow aspirants for their support for the political movement, wishing them the best of luck.
