Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, has been arraigned at the Isabo High Court in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Thursday.
This came after the singer surrendered himself to the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department in Yaba on Wednesday, after being declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command.
Portable faces charges related to an alleged attack on officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development during an enforcement exercise at his bar in the Sango Ota area on February 5, 2025.
The officials sustained injuries, and while nine of Portable’s associates were arrested, the singer evaded capture until his recent surrender.
