The elevation of Ambassador Wale Ojo-Lanre to Senior Special Assistant Tourism Development to Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State is a development that will enhance tourism in the state.
The Special Adviser to Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, on Culture and Tourism, Hon Akeem Ademola Ige said this in a congratulatory message to Amb. Ojo-Lanre on his new appointment.
Hon Ige also lauded Governor Fayemi for his vision on the sector and appointing the right people, which according to him, is a template that should be emulated by other state governors.
“Amb Wale Ojo-Lanre’s wealth of experience and understanding of the sector will, no doubt, be of great help in achieving Governor Fayemi’s developmental agenda on tourism and make it a tool for economic development.
“In Oyo State, Governor Seyi Makinde is not relenting on his efforts at taking tourism to the next level. We are hoping to form a synergy with Ekiti State and other stakeholders in forming an agenda that would attract investors and create more jobs for our teeming youths in the creative industry.
