THE suspected Ibadan serial killer, Sunday Shodipe, has been rearrested by operatives of the Oyo State police command.
Competent sources said the 19-year-old man, accused of involvement in the rape and murder of some female residents in Ibadan, was discovered at Bodija market in an area where some load carriers were plying their trade.
It was further gathered that some people noticed him and duly informed the state SARS commander, who went there with SARS operatives and got him arrested.
The state police spokesperson, Olugbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the development to Reporters At Large Sunday in a telephone interview.
“Sunday Shodipe has been re-arrested this morning and he is in police custody”, he told our correspondent.
