Parrotxtra Magazine Publisher, Olayinka Agboola Hospitalized

The publisher of Parrotxtra Magazine and presenter of the Parrotxtra Hour on the Radio, Olayinka Agboola, is hospitalized.

Agboola, who is the chairman of the South West Group of Online Publisher (SWEGOP) collapsed on Tuesday during an interview session with a former minister of Communications, Barrister Adebayo Shittu.

It was gathered that Mr Agboola was rushed to a private hospital in Ibadan where he is currently receiving treatment.

Although the nature of his ailment was not disclosed, he has been directed to run a series of test and diagnoses by the medical experts.

When contacted Mr Agboola said “I was already in the studio when I started feeling somehow. Suddenly, I went blank and the next thing, I to found myself at this hospital. I don’t know when I will be discharged because I still need to do some medical test before the doctors would start proper treatment.

“I was asked to do COVID-19 test as well but when I get to Adeoyo Hospital I was told they have stopped working since about three weeks ago due to lack of test kits, so, I was directed to a private laboratory for the test.”
