SERGIO Aguero might change his heart and lengthen his contract at Manchester City past 2019, following supervisor Manuel Pellegrini.
The Argentina star confirmed this week that he needs to return to dwelling on the finish of his present deal and end his career with Independiente.
However, City hopes to persuade the 27-year-old striker to remain longer, and Pellegrini doubts that Aguero’s choice is about in stone.
He stated: ‘It’s a choice that Sergio is aware of why he needs to do it. It’s troublesome to speak about what will occur in two or three years extra, because gamers change their minds.
‘Maybe he can be happy to return to Argentina but Kun has many more years here in Europe.’
Pellegrini’s future is slightly clearer following the information that he might be replaced by Pep Guardiola in the summertime. The Chilean has been linked with Chelsea, Zenit St Petersburg and Newcastle, though the latter place is about to be stuffed by Rafael Benitez following Steve McClaren’s sacking.
Pellegrini provided his sympathy to McClaren, however, provided no clues about his personal subsequent professional transfer.
“Always when a manager is sacked it’s not very good news,’ he added.
“Our job depends upon the outcomes however there are so few video games earlier than we end the season, it’s a choice that the membership (Newcastle) should understand how they assume.
“Me, I’m thinking about Norwich, a difficult game on Saturday. When I finish here in May I will start thinking about the future.
“I’m actually not fascinated by it. I’m simply specializing in my job right here till May.
“In this profession you never know where you’re going to be next year. I’m used to it so in this moment I’m quiet.
