The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Alhaji Kazeem Animashaun, a prominent Eruwa businessman killed by unidentified gunmen. The victim was ambushed and murdered in the Wasinmi area of Iseyin Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The Speaker visited the deceased’s residence at Orita, Eruwa, in Ibarapa East Local Government Area. During the visit, he met with the widow, children, and other family members to commiserate with them over the tragic loss.
Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin expressed deep sorrow over the incident, describing the killing as painful and disturbing. He sympathised with the bereaved family and acknowledged the difficulty of coming to terms with the sudden and violent loss of a loved one.

Moving to address the security implications, he charged Oyo State security agencies to intensify their efforts to unravel the circumstances surrounding the attack, track down the perpetrators, and ensure that they face the full weight of the law.
Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin stressed the importance of a comprehensive investigation into the Wasinmi Iseyin murder investigation, emphasising that authorities must take every necessary step to establish the facts of the incident and prevent the perpetrators from escaping justice.
