A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Hon. Akinwale Akinwole has said that Governor Seyi Makinde’s numerous achievements in the last two years have punctured the lies and antics of the opposition to hoodwink the unsuspecting members of the public.
Wolekanle as he is fondly called also said that the visible achievements recorded in the last two years are just the tip of the iceberg as the governor is still loaded with more plans and ideas.
Akinwole while felicitating with the Governor, his cabinet members, and the PDP family at large said ‘we are not just proud of having Makinde as our leader but also delighted in the fact that he is running a populist government that is having positive impacts on the entire populace.
“Even the doubting Thomases in the opposition parties can attest to the fact that Governor Makinde has taken Oyo State far away from where he met it in terms of infrastructural developments, provision of basic amenities, significant improvements in health and education sectors among others.
“From Ibadan to Ibarapa to Oke Ogun, Ogbomoso and Oyo, Makinde’s imprint is everywhere and I can assure you that more remarkable projects and legacies will be recorded before the end of his first term in office.
Though security challenges are a general phenomenon, Governor Makinde has created an enabling environment for businesses to thrive through the construction and rehabilitation of roads and the provision of adequate security.
Wolekanle, the Ogbomoso born entrepreneur who is also the chairman of AA luxury Suites and Proprietor Ogbomoso United Football Club while praying for more success also calls for more Supports from all stakeholders to take Oyo state to greater heights.
