The former Oyo State Deputy Governor, Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja as emerged, as Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), South.
The publicity secretary, Oyo State PDP, Engr Akeem Olatunji, stated this in Abuja immediately he was declared.
In his speech, “Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja defeated the former executive governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola with 2,005 to 705 votes to emerge as PDP Deputy National Chairman (South).
Meanwhile, Rahman Owokoniran, the South West Region Secretary has congratulated Arapaja for winning the race of Who will become the PDP Deputy National chairman (SOUTH) against Oyinlola
In his congratulatory message Owokoniran stated that Arapaja stood up to conquer. “This is a contest that is well deserved. You stood tall and you defeated, despite all odd. The voice voice of the people always speaks loudest”
PDP is surely on its way to take over Nigeria come 2023 owokoniran said.
The South West scribe further went on to congratulate Governor Seyi Makinde, all Arapaja’s supporters and the rest of the South West for giving PDP a new beginning.
He once again congratulatulated Ambassador Arapaja for making South West and all PDP family proud.
