Prof Olagoke on Building Construction

The government at all levels has been urged to empower the stakeholders in building construction, such as town planners and sanitary inspectors, to enforce people’s compliance in every built scheme by effectively sensitising them to the importance of hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.

The founder and spiritual head of Shafaudeen in Islam worldwide, Prof. Sabit Ariyo Olagoke, during a lecture he delivered during the commissioning of a sixteen-room comfort house for Shafaudeen National Headquarters to herald the construction of projects to kick-start their proposed Minaret University.

The event, which had members of the Islamic group in attendance, also hosted the executives of the Radio and Television Workers Union (RATTAWU), who were celebrating their week to thank God for the journey of another year.

While speaking about the similarity of the RATTAWU and the clergies, Prof. Olagoke hinted that both were like Siamese twins who could not live without each other and said the two were ordained by the Almighty Allah.

While speaking about the 2023 elections, Prof. Olagoke called on Nigerian leaders to call for a total restructuring of the country and prayed that the country would not break up as some sections of it have called for.

In his words, the Chairman of RATTAWU in Oyo State, Comrade Aribatise Adebayo, who led other members of his executives to the event before commissioning the projects, also called on the people to prioritise comfort rooms (toilets) while embarking on building projects.

While thanking God for the opportunity to mark another year in good health, they also thank the founder of Shafaudeen for hosting them and pledge to encourage a more robust relationship with Shafaudeen.

While speaking about the current insecurity and other vices being experienced by Nigerians, Prof. Olagoke hinted that the inability of our leaders to follow the Bible and Quran is responsible for our current crisis.

“It is better to stake one’s life for God’s commandments, and God must be allowed to come to our rescue instead of putting our trust in the leaders.”
