FIFA president, Mr Gianni Infantino and the Secretary General, Ms Fatma Samba Samoura, is in Nigeria on a two–day working visit.
The FIFA officials were received this afternoon at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja by NFF board led by the President, Amaju Pinnick, and some other members accompany by some football club owners in the country.
The visit is to rekindle FIFA’s commitment towards developing football in Nigeria and Africa and promote corporate support for the sport in Nigeria.
Also the Minister of Youth and Sports, Barrister Solomon Dalung and NFF President Pinnick will lead the FIFA team to meet Nigeria president, President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa on a courtesy visit.
