Princess Charlotte, the family’s middle child, is considered “the one in command” in the Cambridge household, according to her mother, Kate. Princess Charlotte has two younger brothers, Prince George, 8, and Prince Louis, 3. Fourth in line to the throne, Charlotte is strikingly similar to her great-grandmother, the Queen, and they both possess a friendly, assured demeanour.

Princess Charlotte’s adorable nickname

Although the Princess is commonly referred to by her given name, Charlotte, at home with her parents, William and Kate, she goes by a different moniker. Kate lovingly refers to the young princess as “Lottie,” William also has a sweet nickname for his daughter.

The royal father was overheard calling Charlotte a French-inspired nickname, “Mignonette,” which means “cute,” when the family visited Kate’s Return to Nature garden at the Chelsea Flower Show.

Charlotte appreciates gymnastics

Charlotte appears to be a very active child who enjoys various sports. Duchess Kate stated that while her parents were on a tour of Ireland, she loved gymnastics.

According to Kate, she is particularly into gymnastics. She performs cartwheels, handstands, and everything else. Gymnastics will significantly benefit their essential coordination and balance skills.

She loves all animals

Animals are a big part of adorable Charlotte’s life at Kensington Palace.

The Cambridge family acquired a new puppy in 2020 before their cherished English Cocker Spaniel, Lupo, passed away in November.

In addition, Charlotte enjoys riding horses and began doing so at the age of 17 months.

When Kate and Natasha Baker first met in 2016, Natasha Baker, a paralympic gold medalist, confided in Kate that Charlotte “has this passion for horses, and although she doesn’t echo it, she’ll do her best to advocate for and foster it.”

The prankster Charlotte

Recently, Prince William mentioned how his daughter has a good sense of humour.

In a video posted by MailOnline, dad William was joking about how Charlotte replies when people ask her age during an engagement in the West Midlands.

He said, “If you ask her, she claims to be 16. Now that I’m six, Charlotte declares, ‘I’ll do whatever I want. They mature quickly.’

She works in the garden with her grandmother

Princess Charlotte’s grandmother, Carole Middleton, recently admitted in an interview with Saga magazine that she enjoys gardening with her grandkids.

She said she should start immediately: “If I’m planting with my grandchildren, I like to have it all spread out at ‘activity stations’ with their little shovel and pot. “Kids need to grow up loving nature, and part of that is letting them get a little muddy,” she continued.

Charlotte is fluent in Spanish

Did you know that Charlotte speaks a second language at home besides English? Since the Cambridge children were infants, their nanny, María Teresa Turrion Borrallo, has been teaching them Spanish.

According to a source who spoke to People, Prince William and Kate’s kid is “really charming and quite confident—she’s always chattering away” and can talk about a bit of the foreign tongue.

The insider noted that Charlotte has “great manners” and is “very nice, lively and enthusiastic.” The Princess enjoys eating raw peas as a snack. Yes, it is accurate, and the Duchess of Cornwall, Charlotte’s grandmother, is solely to blame. Camilla explained to the kids how she enjoys eating peas right from the pod in her garden during a visit to a school in Slough, England. She said they spend hours eating peas in the garden where I take all my grandchildren.

Charlotte prepares meals for her mum!

Isn’t that delightful? During her visit to Lavender Primary School, Duchess Kate reportedly told Matthew Kleiner-Mann how much she enjoys having her kids prepare meals for her.

She was telling us how much her kids love to cook and how they cook for her,” he remarked.

The other day, they prepared cheesy pasta. One adds the milk and butter after stirring the flour. Besides, they prepare various salads.

The young child adores unicorns

Like many youngsters her age, Charlotte has a special affinity for unicorns.

The Duke of Cambridge observed an artistic unicorn in the room while attending an art therapy session at Harcombe House in Devon. He commented, “My daughter adores unicorns.
Admires them.

Charlotte is such a fan of unicorns that she even has a keyring in the shape of a unicorn on her backpack for school and a unicorn purse that she uses on a day out at the polo.

Her wonderful opening phrase

16-month-old Charlotte surprised royal fans in September 2016 when she was overheard pronouncing her first words in public while the Cambridges were attending a kid’s party. This occurred during William and Kate’s Canadian tour.

The little princess raced to the balloons, shouting, “Pop!” She couldn’t contain her joy upon seeing them. Later, Charlotte overheard her father addressing her as “Dada.”
