To support the government during this difficult situation and reduce the negative impact of fuel subsidy removal, the Eniaponle Foundation has donated N200,000 to assist the teachers and staff of Obokun High School Ilesa today, Wednesday, during an event held at the school’s premises.

Deacon Ashaolu Michael Adeboye, a Chartered Estate Surveyor and Valuer who owns the Eniaponle foundation, chatted with newsmen. He said he plans to extend the support scheme to the entire Osun State, but he decided to start from his alma mater.

“We decided to devise a compensation mechanism that could be used to mitigate the impact of fuel subsidy removal on weak and vulnerable segments of Nigerian society”.

“Part of the principal and objectives of Eniaponle Foundation is to support the government and give hope to the needy and according to the saying that charity begins at home, we decided to begin the scheme from my alma mata and later extend it to other parts of Osun State”, said Adeboye.

Meanwhile, commendations have begun to trail the generosity of spirit of the foundation according to comments being posted on the social media handle of the foundation as Zacchaeus Adeyeye wrote: “This Man should be praised for giving out this to the needy especially in a time like this when the Economy is biting hard on the people. Adeboye has been doing this for a long including the presentation of artificial arms/legs to the Physically Challenged. Remember he has not held any political Post. He’s doing well more than those we had given our Mandate or held political post before. Omo Iya Alakara More Grace. God Bless u the more”.

Also, another person, Oluwaseun Ayomi David wrote: “I have watched him over the years love & cared for his ILESHA people. At times I wonder how he loved his people this much. Is it the empowerment of a thing, even when a phone & SIM card was still expensive he will buy recharge cards to empower his people. I remembered once asking him, why do you love your ILESHA people? He smiles. Is it those years he took Indian guys to ILESHA for artificial arms and legs free of charge”.
