NTDC Special Marshal Will Ensure Tourists’ Safety —Sally Mbanefo

THE Director-General of the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC), Mrs. Sally Mbanefo, said that having special marshal members in the corporation will ensure safety of tourists, and orderliness during any tourism events in the country.

Mbanefo said this at the screening of some staff of the corporation who enrolled to be members of the Nigeria’s Special Marshal.

The NTDC boss who described tourism as a good sector to explore to ease the country of the present economic crisis, create wealth for the people, create employment and also, reduce tendencies of criminality in the country, commended the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), for ensuring good use of the roads by road users, which according to her has reduced road accidents.

The Sector Head of Department Special Marshal and Partnership, Mrs. Ekpekpe Barbra, in her speech commended the NTDC boss for encouraging the corporation’s staff to join speciall marshal.

Special Marshal, according to Barbara, is all about service to humanity, “and we at both FRSC and Special Marshal unit appreciate the Director-General of NTDC for encouraging the staff of this corporation to be part of this service.”
