Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Godwin Obaseki, his counterpart in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, and other aspirants on Wednesday signed a peace accord to ensure smooth governorship elections in the state on Saturday.
The peaceful pact was coordinated by the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu, in the presence of religious leaders, security agencies and the media.
