South-West Caucus ‘ll Expedite South West Development Commission Bill’s Passage – Hon Olajide

Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Digital, Information Communication Technology and Cybersecurity, has assured that the South-West caucus of the House will expedite the passage of the South West Development Commission bill.

The bill, recently passed by the Senate is expected to be transmitted to the House of Representatives for concurrence legislation.

Olajide, speaking through his Special Adviser, Media and Public Affairs, Tolu Mustapha, said that once the bill is transmitted to the House, the South-West caucus of the House, with the support of colleagues from other zones, will work hand in hand to ensure its speedy passage and successful implementation, upon finally assent by the president.

We will do everything possible to ensure the speedy passage of this bill,” Olajide stated.

“The South West Development Commission is crucial for the region’s growth, and we must act swiftly to make it a reality.”
